MANIFEST: Vision & Mission

A global hub for robotics manufacturing, deployment, and innovation by 2035.

01 / Vision

To make India a global hub for robotics manufacturing, deployment, and innovation by 2035.

02 / Mission

To accelerate India's robotics ecosystem by shaping policy, building industry standards, enabling technology adoption, and connecting manufacturers, deployers, researchers, and government on a single platform.

03 / The Need for AuRA

India has no dedicated industry body for robotics.

No platform brings manufacturers, deployers, researchers, and policymakers to one table. The numbers make the case: single-digit robot density against a global average of 132, over 80% of robots imported — even as India installed a record 9,120 units in 2024 with no supply ecosystem to serve them.

Global supply chains are rewiring away from single-country dependence, and India is the most credible alternative at scale — but only if it can build, test, and certify at home.

Structural Role

This committee fills a structural gap. It is the institutional voice that India's robotics sector currently lacks.
